Yeah I think maybe the tbc and wotlk clients are different. I have always had to run wowme to use the wow client with any custom patches (without it the client spits out corrupted file errors and closes)

2.4.3 and 3.3.5a by far. I have always wanted a hybrid of the two

I have been doing this one 2.4.3 for a while now (great guide btw). I assume this requires a model editor fix to play with? e.g wowme.exe (the base wow client has an md5 signature that prevents modified clients from running)
